The cable network is staging “zombie attacks” in 26 major cities — hundreds of extras in zombie makeup roaming landmarks such as the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City, the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C., Big Ben in London, The Prado Museum in Madrid.
The stunts will commence at daybreak in Taipei and Hong Kong on Tuesday, Oct. 26 and moves across the globe during a 24 hour period and culminates at the show’s Los Angeles premiere.
via ‘Walking Dead’ plans global zombie invasion stunt – Live Feed.
As we approach Halloween, we suggest that you don’t “shoot first, ask questions later” when confronting would-be zombies. Since it is widely accepted that zombies can’t talk or take direction, we suggest that you warn the “zombie” to stay back. If they respond either verbally or by backing off, its probably safe to say that they are not actually a member of the living dead. Stay safe but let’s make sure the actual living stay living.
July 27, 2010 in Activity Reports, Announcements by John Gray
First, as we have a form that visitors can fill out to report zombie activity, we feel it’s necessary to clarify what this form is for. This form is not intended to initiate an emergency response. It is intended to garner evidence to initiate an official ZED Squad investigation of the incident.
Second, When filling out the form, please make sure to be as descriptive as possible in the message box. Important information, such as location, date, time, description of incident, etc, should be included. Also, make sure to use your real e-mail address so we can contact you for follow-up. Without such information, we cannot properly investigate the incident.
Last, if you are in immediate peril, we suggest you dial 9-1-1.
